Happy Holidays! TED is one of my favorite organizations on the planet! If you are not familiar with it, TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design. TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. 

The two annual TED conferences take place in Long Beach (in conjunction with TEDActive in Palm Springs) and Edinburgh, Scotland. "TED brings together the world's most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes or less)."
