Preparation paves the way to success!

During the hectic holiday season, taking care of ourselves is even more important! Working out when we wake up gives us a better chance to take good care of ourselves, before the day starts taking over! http://www.mywakeupcalls.net/
You may wish to lay out your workout clothes and set up any DVDs or exercise equipment you’ll be using, before you go to bed at night. It’s a lot easier to wake up and work out the next morning, when your workout is all ready, waiting for you to jump right in! Being that we are visually oriented, it’s helpful to set up your environment to support you to achieve your goals more easily. Preparation paves the way to success!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
Thanks to Oprah Winfrey, I write a daily gratitude list of the top five "gratitudes" that come to mind that day. It helps me to stay focused on my many reasons to celebrate my blessed life, which alone is a cause for thanksgiving! Having an attitude of gratitude always increases my awareness of my many amazing gifts and blessings of abundance.
on this Thanksgiving Day, I am including today's top five "gratitudes."
If you'd like to share your list as well, please do!

1. My husband, Tom
2. Hope Charity Palmer and
3. Faith Charity Palmer, our two Maltese dogs
4. My friends and "cheerleaders"
5. My family and my sister, Tanya, who very narrowly escaped death two weeks ago, when she was hit by a drunk driver while jogging. With stints in her Aorta, two rods in her back, a rod in her arm, and a broken pelvis, she is very thankfully, still here with us on the planet. I am very grateful for her tenacious spirit and body.

Happy Thanksgiving, love and blessings to all!

MY WORKOUT WAKE UP CALL Tips:
There are definite advantages to waking up and working out. First of all, we have a greater chance of actually working out before the day's schedule takes over. We will also receive an extra bonus by boosting our metabolisms as the day begins. We’ll think better, feel better and increase our metabolic rates right from the start. And the metabolic lift lasts for several hours!

We've probably all heard it said,"Fail to plan,...plan to fail." Here's a favorite workout success tool:
Keep a journal by your bed. Before you go to sleep at night, write down your workout commitment for the next morning. Plan your exercise program for the next morning; what you will do, when you will do it, and the length of time you'll workout. You can even sign your agreement with yourself, if you’d like. Then close your eyes and see yourself enjoying your workout, feeling proud of yourself! I’ve heard it said that everything happens twice! First, we conceive it, then we achieve it!
Enjoy waking up and working out!
