John St. Augustine, as heard on Oprah Radio, now helps you power up your mornings with
MY POWERTHOUGHTS WAKE UP CALL™ Motivational Alarm Clock Messages!

Now you can wake up to John St. Augustine's daily uplifting positive messages instead of annoying, jarring alarm buzzers or the "alarming" news on the radio! Research shows that your mindset upon awakening influences your perspective as the day progresses! What a wonderful way to start your day!

We are so grateful for John St. Augustine and his powerful morning messages! John has been called "The Voice of America" by veteran broadcaster Bill Kurtis and "the most influential voice on radio" by best-selling author Cheryl Richardson. He is the creator and host of Power!Talk Radio, a nationally syndicated radio show that brings together a viewing of points that empowers listeners with a renewed sense of life's possibilities. Power!Talk Radio has won the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Best Talk Radio award for 1999-2000-2001. Since his first airdate in August of 1997, St. Augustine has broadcast over 10,500 shows. In 2007 The Visionary Project (UK) compiled an international list of 500 people that have been deemed "visionaries" in human achievement. The list includes names such as President Jimmy Carter, Oprah Winfrey, Nelson Mandela, and... John St. Augustine for using his voice on radio for positive change. While St. Augustine is proud of his many media awards and accolades, he cites his 2002 kidney donation to his daughter Amanda has his greatest achievement. "It's not often you have the opportunity to give your child life twice." In June of 2006 St. Augustine put his microphone on hold to help launch the "Oprah & Friends" XM Satellite Radio network as the Senior Producer of "The Dr. Oz Show" and has used his formidable radio experience to mentor other channel hosts. My photo with Rev. Michael Beckwith

I am so grateful to have participated in Mary Morrissey's 2010 Miracle Mastery event! I keep thinking about the circle of light that shines next to Reverend Michael Beckwith's head in this photo! I took several photos that day, even in that room, and this is the only photo with a circle of light in it!

I have shared this photo with several friends. Some have called it a modern day halo. Some have said it is called an orb. Reverend Michael Beckwith has a genuine aura of an angelic presence when you are with him. I keep feeling that his countenance says it all. So does that circle of light! :)

I have been on the planet for several decades now. I have yet to see a circle of light by my head in a photo. It is an excellent goal! :)

Keeping Fit - ‘My Workout Wake Up Call’
Wake up on right side of bed with motivational clock

Cary Castagna - February 6th, 2010

Ever yell at your alarm clock? C’mon, sure you have. I admit I’ve muttered a few curse words in its direction while fumbling for the “snooze” button on the occasional early Monday morning. Excuse my French.

Anyway, now there’s an alarm clock that can talk back. But the clock I’m talking about spews out nothing but pleasant positivity designed to make you wake up and work out.

It’s called “My Workout Wake Up Call” – a unique motivational alarm clock that helps you rise and shine and then get your body in motion with inspirational messages and some orchestral music. The upbeat music has been recorded by the American Wind Symphony Orchestra (www.americanwindsymphonyorchestra.org).

Sure beats the annoying buzzer that wails from traditional alarm clocks.

Each messages lasts for up to 10 minutes to help ensure you start your day right – with a great workout.

There are a few different models. I’ve got the iPod Dock Alarm Clock and I love it. Other models include an MP3 Cube.

It’s as easy as downloading several weeks worth of messages into my iPod, plugging my iPod into the clock and then setting the clock.

The concept is based on research showing that the “mindset upon awakening influences one’s perspective as the day progresses. My Workout Wake Up Call’s unique message structure enhances
awakening uplifted with positive energy,” according to Robin B. Palmer, the creator of the cool idea.

Palmer, who is in fantastic shape herself, played lead roles in Broadway musicals for 15 years. She says that once she settled down and had a family – which was accompanied by the typically
hectic lifestyle – she kept wishing for an affordable personal trainer to inspire her to wake up and work out each morning. Of course, that never happened. So Palmer used her imagination and
technology to create My Workout Wake Up Call. And the rest, as they say, is history.

10 Methods To Help Melt The Stress

10 methods to help melt the stress
http://www.star-telegram.com/living/story/1923671.html#tvg
When you’re straining under everyday pressure, technology, tea, good old-fashioned fun or seven other de-stressers can help take the worry away

By JAN JARVIS

jjarvis@star-telegram.com

"If you have any doubt that stress is pandemic, just Google it.
The word stress produces nearly 180 million responses. That thought alone is probably enough to send your stress hormones surging.
There’s no escaping stress, but there are plenty of ways to deal with it, from homespun strategies to proven techniques.
Start by taking care of yourself, said Dr. Mary Lynn Crow, a Fort Worth psychologist and professor at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Getting enough sleep and eating healthful foods can help you tolerate stress better, she said.
"If you think things will never get better, it ups your stress, as opposed to thinking that this is not a good situation but everybody’s doing their best," Crow said. "Your self-talk can make a difference."
Lots of techniques — deep breathing, yoga poses, list-making, exercise — can break up the day and help reduce stress.
"If you get a sense of peaceful control over your life and your world, it does reduce stress," Crow said.
Here are some fun and soothing ways to turn down the volume on stress:
A gentler way to wake up

My Wake Up Call promises to deliver an upbeat message that gets you out of bed in a kinder, gentler way than the annoying buzz of an alarm clock. A month’s worth of daily inspirational messages can be downloaded to an MP3 player or CD.

Research shows that an uplifted mindset upon awakening adds up to a positive perspective throughout the day. And that means less stress.
My Workout Wake Up Call is the first in a series of motivational messages and includes music recorded by the American Wind Symphony Orchestra. The messages from a personal trainer are designed to encourage listeners to get up and go exercise.
Others on the way include: My Worthiness Wake Up Call, My Wellness Wake Up Call and My Wisdom Wake Up Call.

There are several ways to get the motivational messages. You can download a month’s worth of messages to your iPod or iPhone for about $20 a month (you’ll need the free alarm clock from the iTunes app store) or buy a CD player with messages for about $50. Other options are available at www.mywakeupcalls.net..."

Thank you, Jan Jarvis for featuring MY WORKOUT WAKE UP CALL in your article in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Star Telegram Article! We really appreciate it!

All the best to you!
